As an independent entity, it is known for encouraging the best innovative and creative use of digital technologies. Every year, it recognizes exceptional talent and digital platforms, and also rewards distinctive websites, mobile apps, marketing campaigns, and bloggers, and more.

Following the successful Pakistan Digital Awards (PDA) since 2017, PDA had surfaced once again to recognize and reward the very best talent in digital platforms and solutions participated from all over Pakistan for 2021. Unlike in the past, PDA conducted an extremely exclusive and unprecedented event, following the SOPS for Covid-19.

This auspicious award ceremony was held at an open-air venue at the Andalusian Lawn DHA in Karachi, 17th of July 2021. It was a perfect venue selection amidst pandemic and in the beautiful weather of Karachi. Abdul Sami Qahar, CEO at Stimulus Production Worldwide along with Sahar Tahir Khan, director Business Development at Digital Headquarter hosted the award ceremony. With strategic partners like Vouch 365, Jubilee Life Insurance, Ideation, Oktopus Group and Tapal to name a few. An independent panel of 8 expert judges from multiple industries evaluated the well-deserved nominations from 92 digital categories from public, private and third sector organizations. The jury included Zeeshan Hasib Baig, CEO & Country GM at Careem, Faizan Lakhani, CEO at Entertainer Asia, Subul Naqvi, Head of Corporate Communications Telenor Microfinance Bank, and other renowned industry professionals.

The guest of honors included Ikhtiar Baig, Chairman Baig Group, Shariq Vohra, President Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Rehan Hyder, CEO INSOURCE Technologies.

A Wonderful & Memorable Moment for ArhamSoft at PDA
For the very first time, this year, ArhamSoft (Pvt) Ltd. took the initiative and participated in the Pakistan Digital Awards. We competed with hundreds of other participants for the “best web and mobile market award” category and won it successfully.

ArhamSoft pitched the PDA jury for its unique product Mathlete – Let’s Play Math. We designed and developed this application to help young students practice math online and in a fun way without burdening their brains. The aim was to make a dry and boring subject like mathematics an easy and exciting subject for kids and teens.

Mathlete is not only a math-learning platform, but also provides the students with an opportunity to play math – proving their arithmetic skills and winning exciting prizes.  We designed and developed this most amazing math quiz game for students. Moreover, we took the initiative in conducting a math competition named “MATHmania” contest, keeping in mind the SOPs for the pandemic.

MATHLETE – Let’s Play Math! (A Project of ArhamSoft) is a humble effort to take Pakistan’s education sector to the next level by fostering mathematical creativity and ingenuity among the students, through differentiated learning. The aim is to prepare the young generation for future careers where they need to cope with the ever-evolving ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and business challenges across all industries.

To turn this learning initiative into reality, we feel privileged to have McDonald’s as our strategic partner. We have come up with a creative way of engaging the students to learn, compete and win exclusive prizes.

The whole concept of MATHLETE – Let’s Play Math was quite simple yet unique to be acknowledged at such a distinguished platform like PDA. We have successfully provided a great opportunity to students to showcase their math solving skills through different levels of competition.

The contest had seven levels of contestants and was conducted in three phases. Phase one involved our interactive math quiz application – Mathlete – that allowed the registered contestants to attempt math quizzes online and earn points to be redeemed for food deals from McDonald’s. Likewise, the qualifiers of phase 2 and 3 got free meal vouchers from McDonald’s. We also presented cash prizes to the winning champs from each grade who physically and online participated in the MATHmania contest. We gave 7 prizes per position – 50,000 PKR for First Position, 25,000 PKR for first runner up, and 10,000 PKR for second runner up.

What makes it more interesting for ArhamSoft is the best web and mobile market award we bagged at PDA, 2021 – making our team and partners equally proud.
