When Your Team Needs Managed QA
A new payment method, partner API, or last-minute mobile update adds work to your release checklist. Existing workflows still need regression testing to check that changes have not affected them.
When regression testing takes longer, automation becomes difficult to maintain, or release decisions rely on scattered updates, your QA team needs more capacity and clearer reporting.
QaaS is ArhamSoft’s managed QA as a Service. A dedicated team works within your development process, alongside your engineers and existing QA team. A named QA Lead owns test planning and execution, automation, defect reporting, and the go/no-go recommendation before production.
Is QaaS a good fit?
- Your releases are becoming more frequent.
- Regression is taking time away from new development.
- APIs and integrations are adding testing complexity.
- Your QA team needs more capacity or specialist support.
- You need a clearer view of coverage and release readiness.
Testing Coverage Included in QaaS
We combine manual testing and automation from requirements to release. Tests check new functionality and existing workflows, giving your engineers findings they can use to investigate and fix defects.
Functional & Regression Testing
We verify new features against requirements and retest existing customer workflows after changes. Coverage includes business logic, everyday journeys, and edge cases that need closer examination.
API & Integration Testing
We validate REST and SOAP APIs, schemas, boundaries, and error responses, including connections to partner systems and services. Automated pipeline checks help identify integration defects as software changes.
Mobile Application Testing
Test native and hybrid iOS and Android apps across an agreed device and OS matrix, using real devices, emulators, and simulators.
Performance & Load Testing
We test application behavior under sustained demand, traffic spikes, and stress. Results establish baselines, identify bottlenecks, and give your engineers findings to investigate and fix.
Test Automation & CI/CD Integration
Suitable regression scenarios become maintainable, version-controlled, peer-reviewed test suites. Running them in CI/CD provides repeatable checks of existing functionality as your software changes.
Test Management & Release Reporting
Keep requirements, test runs, and defects connected, with coverage visibility, defect status, and a formal go/no-go recommendation from your QA Lead.
Coverage for Critical Payment Workflows
For each agreed payment workflow, we test the transaction across the systems it passes through. Your engineers help define expected behavior and failure paths. Coverage applies to both payment software and transaction-processing platforms, with scope agreed around your product.
Authorizations
Check authorization behavior and API responses against your requirements, including product-specific boundary and negative test cases.
Refunds & Reversals
Test refund and reversal journeys, checking their effect on transaction status and behavior across connected services.
Settlements
Check settlement workflows and their integrations against the behavior defined in your product requirements.
Partner APIs & Integrations
Check API contracts, response handling, and end-to-end integration behavior when partners or endpoints change.

A Named QA Lead With Clear Release Reporting
Throughout the sprint, your QA Lead keeps testing priorities, defects, and release concerns visible to engineering leadership, so your team can address issues as development progresses.
What you receive
- A test strategy aligned with your requirements and product risks.
- Documented test cases and requirement traceability.
- Manual and automated coverage for the agreed scope.
- Defect reports with severity, retest status, and supporting evidence.
- Visibility into regression results and remaining coverage gaps.
- A formal QA go/no-go recommendation before production.
Release reporting shows what passed, unresolved defects, and incomplete coverage. Your QA Lead uses these findings to recommend whether to proceed; engineering leadership makes the final release decision.

QaaS FAQs
About QaaS
QaaS means QA as a Service. ArhamSoft provides a dedicated QA function within your development workflow, led by a named QA Lead. The service includes manual and automated testing, defect reporting, and formal release recommendations for your engineering team.
With QaaS, the service includes ownership of the agreed QA function: planning, coverage, execution, reporting, and release recommendations. Your named QA Lead is accountable for coordinating that work with engineering leadership.
Yes. We can complement your team where capacity, regression depth, automation, or specialist testing needs support. We agree responsibilities during discovery so the teams work toward the same priorities.
The offering focuses on financial software vendors, payment technology companies, credit-card platforms, and transaction-processing operators with active engineering teams. We scope coverage around the APIs, integrations, mobile experiences, and transaction workflows relevant to your product.
QaaS is led by people. Automation and AI-assisted tooling can support repeatable testing, authoring, and maintenance, while your QA Lead remains accountable for coverage, findings, and release recommendations.
Getting Started
A named QA Lead and one tester work on one agreed workflow in your test or staging environment. You receive test cases, an automated regression suite running in your CI/CD pipeline, a defect report, and a go/no-go recommendation for one release candidate. Success criteria are agreed on Day 1.
We review your engineering workflow, release frequency, product complexity, existing QA coverage, and testing priorities. We then agree the team composition, responsibilities, tools, environments, and deliverables in a proposal tailored to your requirements.
No. The POC carries no obligation to enter an ongoing engagement. You retain the test cases, automation scripts, and documentation created during it.
Monthly QaaS plans have a three-month minimum. After that, service continues month to month with 30 days’ notice. The POC carries no obligation to enter a monthly engagement.
We agree the required inputs during scoping. These typically include the selected workflow’s requirements, access to a suitable test environment, approved test data, relevant tools and pipeline access, and an engineering contact for questions and defect review. The delivery schedule is agreed around readiness and scope.
